I made a new year's resolution for this year... but it didn't last for long. Neither do I plan on making one for 2013. I've decided that if I ever feel like getting started on something, I'll do it no matter what time of the year it is.
Stupidly enough I made the one resolution women always make, to lose weight. But I desperately needed to, so I finally did it this year, and I lost 35 kilos. My resolution for next year will have something to do with my school, and that I need to pass my first year. Hopefully I'll nail that one as well!
I don't think most people keep them past January, if that even. Think about it. When do you hear someone in September, let alone February, talking or asking about their New Year resolutions? If you did ask someone about them, they'd think it was an odd question. They'd probably think, "That's was so January!"
That's why I think the whole thing is silly. If you want to do something, do it. Don't wait until January first. Especially if it's months away.
