Just a smile - Steps by AuroraWienhold Just a smile - Steps by AuroraWienhold
The three basic steps of one of my ink studies. I really enjoy this technique! First, a sketchy drawing, then the basic drawing with ink (not waterproof) and at last adding water.

So you use pencil to get the forms. Then, you go in with a (pen?) and put int the lines. Then, you go back with ink and slowly add layers? Is that right?

You will need some non waterproof stuff for the outlines, to use this technique.

Nice work, very organic.. But for some reason, I like the middle step more than the finished one. Not because of clarity, but it changes her features a bit. The nose tip is higher and more forward. Maybe it's just me.
